■Prominent features

Damage to and wear of valve seat are lessened because materials pass through after the valves are in the full open position.
Permits operation over extended period at high top pressure.
Compared with the conventional small bell, their compactness affords savings in operating power.
The seat can be replaced easily in the field.
The surface on which burden strikes is fitted with the wear-resistant liner, which can be replaced.
