13. Hot Blast Flow Control Valves

These are installed at the tyuere stack in order to control the hot blast flow.
Maximum design temperature is 1350℃

As for the valve disc of conventional ceramics, there is a a high temperature thermal shock and an acid-resisting voltinism, There was the weak point that durability of a valve had a short.

Azuma Iron Works adopted special ceramics to a valve disc as a high temperature thermal shock and solved these weak points overall.
